I am now in Okinawa for attending the Workshop on Cell division and arrest. It is an excellent meeting indeed, alhtough this statement sounds like over advertisement as I am the organizer.
Three night pictures are shown here, one taken at the Maruyama park in Kyoto and the other two at Asakusa, Tokyo. The tree is the famous cherry blossom. This photo was taken twelve days ago so that it was just still a tree without any blooming. However, many tourists watched the tree, perhaps imagining how it would look like in the full bloom.
The othe two photos were taken when I went to Asakusa with my son for dinner last Friday. The first one was taken in front of the big symbol temple. The other shows the entrance of a nude theater. It existed when I was a undergraduate student, 45 years ago, though it located at the ground floor of the same building, which is now mostly occupied by a pachinko game center. The theatre must be greatly reduced to a small size as the number of the customer is probably very small.
I suddenly recalled to come this section of the town several times by escaping from some time-long chemistry experiments.
